Roles and Permission

What roles and permissions are available in TeamBuyIn? How customizable are technician permissions in TeamBuyIn?

More > Team Management

TeamBuyIn has two roles: Admin and User.

Admin Permissions

Admins have full access to the account with no restrictions. They can manage users, configure services and commissions, review and approve jobs, and control all organization-level settings.

User Permissions

Users have three permission toggles found under the settings wheel on each employee card that admins can turn on or off individually.

Active / Inactive -- An active user can log in and access the app. An inactive user cannot.

Commissionable / Non-Commissionable -- A commissionable user is eligible to earn commission on jobs and line items they are assigned to. A non-commissionable user earns no commission on any job or line item by default.

Visible in Metrics / Hidden from Metrics -- A user visible in metrics appears on the leaderboard. A user hidden from metrics is removed from the leaderboard entirely.

Organization-level settings admins control

Profit Visibility -- Admins can control who sees profit data across the organization. Options are: everyone sees profit, only admins see profit, or no one sees profit.

Leaderboard -- Admins can turn the leaderboard on or off for the entire organization.
