What is a Pending Job

What is a pending job? What does pending mean?

When a job is completed in Housecall Pro or Jobber, it arrives in TeamBuyIn as a pending job. Pending is the first state a job enters before it has been reviewed or approved.

Jobs completed in Housecall Pro appear in TeamBuyIn approximately 30 minutes after completion. Jobs completed in Jobber appear instantly.

What you see on a pending job

Each pending job appears as a job card showing:

  • Job number

  • Visit number

  • Job name

  • Client Name

  • Job total

  • Each line item

  • Technicians associated with the job

  • Date completed

From the job card, you can review or approve the job directly.

Who can see pending jobs?

Both owners and technicians can see pending jobs. Technicians see the same job information as owners unless the owner has turned off the Profitability Toggle for that technician. When the Profitability Toggle is off, the technician will not see any costs or expenses associated with the job. They will only see revenue, their payout, their leaderboard ranking, and high-level performance stats like callback percentage and upsell percentage. All of these can be filtered by time frame.
