Web: Setup > Performance Pay > Per-tech rates > Edit > Rate tiers
Rate tiers pay a technician a higher rate as their net revenue grows. You can also set tiers on the organization default.
Per job -- the tier a single job clears sets the rate for that whole job. With tiers of $0 at 5% and $1,000 at 10%, a $1,200 job pays $1,200 x 0.10 = $120.
A time period -- revenue adds up across the period. Only dollars earned after crossing a threshold get the higher rate. With tiers of $0 at 8% and $10,000 at 10%, a tech with $15,000 earns ($10,000 x 0.08) + ($5,000 x 0.10) = $1,300.
Thresholds are measured per tech, not per ticket. On a shared $1,500 job, each of two techs is credited $750.
The measure is net revenue after discounts. For sales tiers it is that salesperson's own approved sales.
A job is priced when you review it. Jobs already paid are not re-priced.
If a higher tier would pay less, TeamBuyIn warns 'These tiers pay less after a higher tier.'
When totals reset
Choose a period: Per job, This week (resets Monday), This month, This quarter, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. The last two are rolling and recount daily. Custom schedules also offer Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Twice monthly, Monthly, Quarterly and a Custom interval, with a timezone for the reset. You can schedule a change to start on a later date. Reviewed payouts keep their saved amounts when tiers change.
