If a line item comes through on a job that isn't in your service list, TeamBuyIn won't know what commission to apply to it automatically. Global Commission Default solves that.
Global Commission Default is a fallback commission rule that applies to any line item not found in your service list, so nothing slips through without a payout attached.

There are three commission types to choose from. Top Line calculates the commission as a percentage of the line item's total price. Fixed Rate pays out a fixed dollar amount regardless of the line item value. Bottom Line calculates the commission based on the margin on that line item.
Choose whichever matches how you structure pay for work outside your standard service list.
Note: Global Commission Default only applies to line items not in your service list. Line items that exist in your service list will always use the commission rule set on that specific item.
