Dashboard > Export
TeamBuyIn lets you export your payout data as a CSV directly from the Dashboard. Before exporting, select the date range you want to cover -- this can be any window between two dates.
Dashboard > Export > Report Type
There are two report types to choose from. Performance Pay report shows each technician's total allocated payout for the selected period. Accounting report breaks everything down further, showing each job ticket split into individual service items with the payouts tied to each one. Choose whichever format works for your payroll or bookkeeping process, then tap "Export."
Performance Pay Report
Dashboard > Export > Performance Pay
The Performance Pay report gives you a technician-by-technician summary of earnings for the selected period. Each row represents one technician and shows their total revenue, total commission payout, tips, profit, and job count. Use this report when you need totals by technician for payroll -- it tells you exactly what each person earned without breaking things down any further.
The columns in the report are: technician name, total revenue from jobs they were assigned to, total commission payout, total tips, total profit, and job count.
Accounting Report
Dashboard > Export > Accounting
The Accounting report breaks everything down to the service item level. Instead of one row per technician, you get one row per service item per technician per job. This means the same job can appear multiple time, once for each service item on it, and once for each technician assigned to that item. Use this report when you need a job-by-job, line-by-line breakdown for bookkeeping or accounting reconciliation.
The columns in the report are: service item description, whether it was a tip, revenue, cost of goods, profit, profit margin percentage, technician name, technician payout for that item, job ID, customer name, job title, completion date, and service name.
How does TeamBuyIn reconcile tips?
Tips appear as a distinct column in the Performance Pay report. If tips are part of your technician payouts, you'll see them broken out separately from commission so you can reconcile them without cross-referencing anything else. Tips are always commissionable by default and split evenly between assigned technicians, but are customizable on a job by job basis.
Note: Performance Pay report is the right choice if you just need totals by technician for payroll. Accounting report is the right choice if you need a job-by-job breakdown. Service items with zero revenue are included in the Accounting report -- these are typically free assessments, complimentary inspections, or items where cost exceeds revenue. Discounts and taxes also appear as their own rows and will always show zero payout.
