Customize Commission Splits
Jobs > Pending
When you open a pending job and tap Review, TeamBuyIn shows you every service item on the job, who's assigned to it, and what each technician's commission is based on your commission rules. If you're happy with everything, tap Confirm and you're done.
If you need to make changes, here's what you can do:
Select or deselect service items
Jobs > Review > Line Item > Selected
If a service item on the job is selected, it means it's selected as commissionable in your service list. To remove a service item from commissions entirely, tap it to deselect it. A deselected item pays out zero commission. Tap it again to reselect it.
To remove all service items at once, tap Deselect All at the top of the screen.
Select or deselect users
Jobs > Review > Line Item > Users
Each service item shows a Users button with the number of technicians assigned to it. Tap that button to see who's assigned. Check or uncheck any technician to add or remove them from commission on that specific item. You can also tap the 'Users' button at the top of the screen to add or remove technicians across the entire job.
Customize payout amounts and splits
Jobs > Review > Customize Payout
Tap Customize Payout to open the payout customization screen. From here you can edit the override amount on any service item -- either as a dollar amount or a percentage, toggled by the switch on that item.
Jobs > Review > Customize Payout > Line Item > Advanced
To edit how the commission is split between technicians on a specific line item, tap Advanced in the bottom left corner of that item. This makes each technician's split editable individually. Splits can be set as a percentage or a dollar amount. If using percentages, all splits must add up to 100%. Each line item must be edited one by one.
