Discounts and taxes appear on job tickets in TeamBuyIn but are never commissionable. Here's how each is handled.
Discounts
When a discount is applied to a job in your FSM, it is distributed proportionally across every service item on the ticket, starting with the highest-value item first. TeamBuyIn applies the discount this way automatically. Commissions are calculated on the discounted amounts, not the original prices.
Tax
Tax appears at the bottom of the job ticket and is never counted toward revenue or commissions. Tax is treated as a cost of doing business, separate from the revenue a technician generates. It does not factor into any technician's payout or performance numbers.
